Wild and bearlike, with a big beard that has not seen a razor in over forty-two years! I do trim it from time to time whether I need to or not! Not to worry though, I do keep it clean and brushed! I enjoy a good joke, particularly if it is on me....I try not to take myself too seriously. I will however, speak my mind freely as necessary. I'm also a good listener and a quick study in new situations. I often see connections that others tend to overlook! I relatively easy going and not given to rushing around in a twist! I am more of a "smell the roses" kind of fella and would describe my pace as more of an ambling about, conducting my investigations as my interests dictate in the moment. I don't often go "hiking" along designated, established trails but much prefer striking out across the landscape "cutting cross lots" or "bush whacking" as some would describe it! I see and learn so much more than plodding blindly down (or up) the beaten path with the rest of the herd.

I'm pretty eclectic in my interests and passions! I am a life-long Naturalist whose life mission and purpose is to share the natural world with as many folks as I can and to foster and nurture their connection within it. I've extensively studied and taught the natural sciences....pretty much all of them; including but not limited too, chemistry, physics, astronomy, geology, ecology, forestry, land surveying, botany, wildlife biology and so on. Since the age of sixteen, I've pursued mastery of the five-string banjo in the clawhammer style. I learned the old-time tunes many years ago. They were all that I used to play, until I found out that composing my own tunes is a lot more fun! I love to spend every possible moment exploring and studying the fields, forests and wetlands of my region in southeastern Vermont. Camping and canoeing in the Spring, Summer and Fall is a favorite way for me to "waste away the time!" In Winter, I can be found snowshoeing and winter camping! Most importantly though, I love to connect intimately with my lover as often as possible and to pleasure her thoroughly and well!
