I'm a workaday type of modest means who is loyal, loving, caring, and responsible. I can be opinionated, but I'm passionate about things I believe in or against. I'm down-to-earth, albeit sometimes a little too "intelligent" for my own good!

After reading all of this, one may think that I'm a rather sedate person, even boring. Perhaps to a degree, but then I've slowed down from my younger days. I'm seeking a lady who wants to eventually settle down and enjoy her mid-life-to-twilight years with someone special. Someone for whom quality outshines quantity. Someone who is passionate yet dedicated. Someone who can be silly just as well as serious. Someone who can say "I love you" and mean it; no need to append "too" to it.
I'm very affectionate, very demonstrative of that affection.  Touching, feeling, kissing, "naughty" love-play go a long way with me.
 

Reading, electronics and a bit of history [sometimes these three overlap]; I like to design and build . Flea markets and antique shops are favorites as well. Old buildings, old cars, old books can get my attention.

In music, it's been classic rock/rock'n'roll for most of my life. Getting older, I've been gravitating toward the likes of Big Band, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin; songs for the "mature" generation. In movies, the comedy, drama, sci-fi, fantasy, history, and horror genres I like; just as long as the plot is plausible.

Dining out, I prefer a nice, quiet restaurant where one can actually converse with a dinner date. Chinese, German, Hamburger, Mexican, Pizza, Steak venues are favorites.
