I'm amazed how anyone can stand and squat on the toilet pan to empty their bowels. I've tried it, and it kills my knees and back. Can't beat sitting down to do it.

Squatting like that is actually the best position to shit from because it lines up your colon to allow the turd to slide out easily. A lot of women seem to squat just to prevent germs from getting into their vaginas. As a voyeur it's also the best position to watch from :)
